    Hannity Producers  |

Welcome back to another week of "Hannity." Tonight's show will kickoff with reaction to the firing of GM's CEO and the rest of the auto bailout plan. Sean will be joined by former Clinton adviser Dick Morris. And as an earlier blog post noted, the show will close with Joel and Victoria Osteen who will join Sean in the studio.

And there's a whole lot of news to cover in the middle. Here are some other stories to check out before the clock strikes 9PM eastern:

    1. I know it sounds crazy, but what I am about to tell you is actually true. Believe it or not, President Obama has named an AIG board member to his Task Force on Tax Reform. Sean will weigh in on this story...

    2. The scandals surrounding Chris Dodd continue to pile up. Is he currently serving his final term in office? Ainsley Earhardt and Connecticut State Senator Sam Caligiuri have all corners of this story covered in a special investigation tonight. In the meantime, here's a refresher...

    3. It seemed like every other day the mainstream media would run a story criticizing the Bush White House for how they distributed tickets to town halls and speeches. Well, now some surprising details have been uncovered on the people selected by President Obama to ask a question during last week's "online town hall." Take a look at this article and Sean will have more on it tonight in "Hannity's America"...

Check back tomorrow at 5PM for another edition of Briefing Material.

  • Geithner's Busy Weekend

    Hannity Producers  |

liberal_translation1Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner had a busy weekend, appearing on a couple of the Sunday shows yesterday.  Be sure to tune in tonight when he's featured in the Monday edition of Liberal Translation.

I'm heading down to the edit room shortly to put it together... I'm using a clip from his interview on "Meet the Press."

  • Who's Up Next in Liberal Translation?

    Hannity Producers  |

liberal_translationI just returned from the edit room and have completed tonight's edition of Liberal Translation.

It contains a major slip of the tongue from one prominent Democrat who has been on a LT hiatus as of late.  Any thoughts on who might wind up getting the, as Sean puts it, Liberal Translation treatment tonight?

And who should we keep our eye on for the Friday edition? Send us your thoughts.

  • Tonight, In Hannity's America...

    Hannity Producers  |

Why are the Girl Scouts cracking down on little 8-year-old Wild Freeborn?

Plus, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) is under fire for her close ties with a bank.  Think that might compromise her ability to serve impartially on the House Financial Services Committee?  Perhaps this shouldn't surprise us, given that Ms. Waters also shilled for Freddie and Fannie.  We have the tape.

And, President Obama speaks to the nation's most successful CEOs.  As you can imagine, not the friendliest audience for the pocket-picking Prez.  His address to the group gets tonight's liberal translation.

  • Inside Hannity's America

    Hannity Producers  |

320_hannity_americaTo put together Hannity's America, we're always looking for stories that catch our eye: I like the blogs, Producer #2 prefers Politico44 and the Politico Playbook.  We like stories that showcase liberal hypocrisy, which are in no short supply these days.

Every morning, we sit down with our Executive Producer and throw out our ideas, and he always has his own.  We discuss what order we want the stories to appear in, and always try to end with a funny one.

We spend between 10am and 3pm writing up the stories and finding pictures and video to accompany them, as well as finding a clip for Liberal Translation and "translating" it.  By 3:30, we're usually good to go, and the script goes to Sean for his feedback.

Please send in your clips for Liberal Translation, or your favorite Robert Gibbs pearls of wisdom. We'd love to hear from you.
