The best cameraman in the business hard at work

I was feeling a little guilty when Chase Haynes, Hollywood (aka John Kisala) and myself landed in Honolulu for work. I'm not one to turn down tough assignments as a reporter, but as a surfer, going to Hawaii isn't exactly "roughing it." Not to mention, Chase and Hollywood are among the best producers and cameramen in the business. But with the nation focused on the president's push for universal health care -- and the rush on Capitol Hill to produce legislation -- I soon learned the wisdom of Sean's assignment: there are lessons in the land of pineapples that seem lost on its favorite son, Barack Obama.

Hawaii was the first state in the country to attempt universal health care. It was called "Keiki Care" (Keiki means Child in Native Hawaiian) and it was stopped seven short months after it began due to budgetary concerns. Republican Gov. Linda Lingle had signed it into law, but they soon found a whopping majority of those who wanted free health care already had been insured!

You don't hear the President talk about "Keiki Care" in his speeches. So our mission was simple: talk everyone in Hawaii and find out what happened in the Aloha State.

  • Friday Beyond Belief Special!

    Hannity Producers  |

beyond_belief_320A new “Hannity” Beyond Belief special airs this Friday night and you won't want to miss it. We have five brand new segments of truly unbelievable stories of religious events from around the world.

One of those stories is the Blood Miracle of San Gennaro. The people of Naples, Italy hold a centuries old religious event to honor the patron saint of that city. Every year a vial containing the blood of the Saint is brought out and put on display in the Cathedral of Naples. Thousands come to watch the blood miracle of San Gennaro take place before their eyes. The blood appears to bubble and turn from a solid to a liquid for all to see.

Check out the pictures below and don’t miss the Beyond Belief special on Friday to see it for yourself. Click here to see a sneak peek of another story that will air during Friday night’s special.

  • 'Waste 101' Friday Special

    Hannity Producers  |

052809_320_waste101_logo1Since taking the oath, President Obama has shown that he is not afraid to throw around your money.  First it was his $787 billion stimulus bill, then his $410 billion omnibus spending bill, and finally his $3 trillion budget.  And throughout this never-ending spending spree, the administration has been assured the American people that all of the spending would be done in transparent manner.

However, thousands of earmarks later, the list of wasteful pet projects that the American taxpayers have funded over the course of the last several months is staggering.

Tomorrow night at 9 p.m. Sean Hannity takes the Obama administration to task in a very special show, "Waste 101."  He will count down the 101 most egregious examples of wasteful federal government spending.  Reporters will be standing by around the country to report directly from some of the most ridiculous projects that President Obama has been funding in the name of economic recovery.

Do not miss “Hannity” tomorrow night at 9 p.m. ET

As this country continues to weather the economic crisis, the White House and Congressional Democrats have attempted to take advantage of the situation by rushing their agenda through the legislative process. And when conservatives across the nation come together in opposition to their proposals they are accused of being the "party of no" by people like Nancy Pelosi. She and her left-wing friends continue to use the talking point that the Republican Party has no ideas to move this country forward.

Well, that myth is going to be cracked wide open on Thursday, April 9 when a special edition of "Hannity" brings you "6 Ideas to Save America." The hour-long special will give you six specific policy proposals courtesy of some of the leading conservative minds of our time. Featured on the program will be Sean Hannity's exclusive interview with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, his first interview since leaving office.

Spread the word and do not miss "6 Ideas to Save America" on Thursday, April 9 at 9PM ET.
