The families of our massacred troops at Fort Hood should sue the Federal government since officials knew about Hasan a year ago and allowed him to stay in the armed services...putting all in harms way....our elected officials are blind, just too stupid, timid, to take a stand because of their own religion of "political correctness"...I am livid that our troops at home are in just as much danger as those on foreign soils as are we the citizens. Washington, get a grip on America.

I think it is just another con game by our government to get as much money from us as they can and they think we are stupid! It will cause the rest of the people to loose their jobs so there will be no money for anyone to pay the taxes. Do we have anyone in this country that will protect us?

Of course global warming is real! Our earth has been warming since the last ice age a couple of degrees per century. And no, George W. Bush's great great great great great etc. grandfather did not cause this problem. It is naturally occuring and we're not contributing to the problem. Now that we've had one of the coolest years on record, the left wants to call it "climate change". Here in East Tennessee we've had climate change for many a years, its called....Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter!!

The Climate is always changing. History of the earth’s climate reveals a long list of periods of warming and cooling. For example, around 1400 AD, there was a “little Ice Age.” The Themes River in England froze over in winter and people would go ice skating. But the Themes River hasn’t frozen over for 500 years since. From about 1000 to 1400 AD, we had the “medieval warm period.” This was a period of a great economic boom, due to robust grape production and wine sales, seen throughout England and Europe. This is a period of building great cathedrals and the Italian Renaissance. And when the Norwegians discovered Greenland, and named it, it’s coast was green like Ireland, rather than glacial. Going back to 5500 to 2000 BC, we have the “Holocene Maximum” period of global warming. It was 3-5 degrees warmer than it is today. The polar bears obviously survived this period. In the last 100 years, the rise in CO2 was mostly between 1905 to 1940. This was before the industrial boom of the post WWII era. The amount of CO2 increase did not follow the rise in industrialization. The temperature actually dropped from 1940 to 1975, causing many to be alarmed of a new ice age, as seen on the cover of Time Magazine in the 1970s. It has also dropped again from 1997 to 2009. Climate is not driven by CO2. CO2 is only .054% of the total amount of the earth’s atmosphere. Of all the gases known as Greenhouse gases, CO2 is only a very minor one. Water vapor amounts to 95% of the Greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases trap the suns rays in the level of atmosphere, known as the troposphere, which is the first 10 – 12 Kilometers. If the global warming is being caused by the greenhouse gases, then the temperature would be higher in the middle of the troposphere, than it would be at the surface of the earth. However, the statistics reveal that the surface is warming, but the middle and upper troposphere are not. This reveals that warming is not being caused by CO2 or Greenhouse gases. Likewise, the ice core surveys reveal that when the temperature of the earth rises, it is followed by an increase of CO2 gases, about 200 years behind. The oceans are so big and deep, it takes centuries to heat up and cool down. 99% of the CO2 in our atmosphere comes from the oceans, not man. When the sun puts out more heat, the ocean temperature rises and the ocean releases CO2. When the sun cools off a bit, the oceans absorb CO2. The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is a product of the sun’s temperature and has nothing to do with causing climate change. Sun spots reveal that when there is more solar activity, there is higher temperature. The climate temperature of the surface of the earth follows the solar activity model for the last 400 years of sun spot record. (Lassen and Frils Christensen) Only the sun is causing the climate change. This is a political agenda, not science. Al Gore has made 100 million dollars off of the man-made global warming idea, and he stands to make one billion dollars within the next few years. The people that are hurt the most are the poorest people of the world. If we convert to solar and wind power, the energy would cost at least three times as much. The cost of farm equipment and trucks, trains and ships to carry the food would all be dramatically increased. A billion people will not be able to pay for this increase and will possibly starve to death. Extremely expensive solar and wind energy would affect the entire world economy and would bring down the standard of living with a dramatic decrease in goods and services. Democracies would not have the economy to support their military to protect themselves. The Free Enterprise industry that feeds, clothes and shelters us every day, would collapse. Rationing and scarcity of food, clothing and shelter would make societies become unstable and militarily adventurous. This would bring in more aggressive governments such as the Marxists and Jihadists. These people would like to see banana republics, with people living in the dark ages, with totalitarian control. The political agenda of the anti-establishment crowd seems to be anti-civilization and chaotic. Although they have no real science to back up their man-made global warming claims, they have a multi-billion dollar propaganda machine that pays tens of thousands of people, government tax money for their biased research. The very best course of action is the alternative of using clean coal, oil and natural gas that are abundant. Modern technology can obtain these fuels with little to no damage to the environment. And modern technology can clean these fuels with little to no pollution. The whole third world desperately depends on this, as well as the whole free world!

How many years does the earth have to go without warming before one can say the modelers (not science) were wrong (10 so far)? How long and far does the planet, oceans need to cool (as it seems to be doing) before one can assert that the planet is actually cooling? Facts are inconvenient things. What is actually worse, a warmer planet that opens up more land on which to grow food, even if there is a shift in population local, or a cooler planet with less land upon which to grow food?

I think that this has been blown WAY out of proportion! There is a difference between being good stewards of the Earth we are given, and going completely and incredibly crazy about it!! It's absolutely insane to let everything go, including our economy, etc, for the cause of global warming. God is in charge of what happens to our world, and for us to believe anything else is absurd!
